Brooke Locke Marx was born and raised in Mid-Michigan. He grew up in Perry and after high school obtained a degree in Political Science from Michigan State University. After college, he moved to Williamston where he lived for many years. Brooke has always valued the importance of being involved and finding ways to help serve the community. During his time in Williamston, he served as the Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals and was always an active member in the area’s Chamber of Commerce. At one point he also served that Chamber as their President.
Upon leaving Mid-Michigan he traveled extensively for several years, both domestically and abroad as part of his former career. Ohio had become home for a while and it was where he first became motivated to become a Realtor. He obtained his Realtor’s License there but later realized that it was not the right place for him and relocated to South Florida in 2011. After several years he was determined to get back into real estate but also knew that Mid-Michigan was where he truly belonged.
He returned home to Mid-Michigan in the beginning of 2019 to reconnect with family and friends. He is married and resides in Lansing with his spouse and their two dogs and birds. In his spare time, he does volunteer work for the Ingham County Health Department. Brooke prides himself on being a very personable guy and enjoys making people around him laugh and understand the importance of living life to the fullest.
